I’m downsizing to 17″ wheels from 18″ wheels to try and get a smoother, quieter ride. I was upgraded to Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires, which had excellent ratings. I will be in the tire shop on Tuesday, and then we’ll see!
I always used to call these “rims” rather than “wheels” and have now learned they are correctly called “wheels.” The “rim” is simply the perimeter of the wheel!
