  1. Driveway art by Papa Dan. He and (Granny)Nadia were visiting when I realized I hadn’t seen him for half an hour or so. He rounded the corner of the driveway a few minutes later clapping a thick layer of pastel dust off of his hands. “The boys are going to need more chalk,” he said, showing me the few flat, quarter-sized pieces that were left.

The boys had a blast with the arrow lane for a week. It totally fed into Liam’s Nazi-ish desire for order and complete control. You were only allowed to drive in the direction of the arrows, turn around at the top of the driveway, and trickle back down to the beginning on either unchalked side. He has now stepped up this game, making his own lanes and scrawling, “STOP” at random and frequent points along his path.

  4. I love this shot. The image quality is so good of the stationary bike, it contrasts so well with the moving one.

  5. When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a remark is added I get 4 emails with the identical comment. Is there any approach you’ll be able to take away me from that service? Thanks!
