Jill and I met in person for the first time, seven years ago today. She crashed right into me, and we smushed noses.

  3. Thanks! She’d asked me for directions to get to my house, and I sent her that picture. And she still wanted to come, even after I made her look like Rosanna-Roseanna Danna.

  4. That’s a great graphic. You should get that car checked out - I’m not sure what that stringy stuff is coming out of the exhaust. :D

  7. I think my hair is that big because my car has no roof! Do you know what 6+ hours of 70 mph wind will do to curly hair?!?!

Best drive I ever made. :o)

  9. Is that graphic some sort of veiled comment about her driving skills? I mean, obviously the destination was your heart, so why the winding path?

Oh, and uh, Happy Anniversary too.

  10. Were you living in the Eastern US, then?

That line connecting the car to the heart looks like one of those old-fashioned cranks that used to start the engines of way-back-when. Something got your respective “engines” going. Neato.

  11. I’ll never forget the phonecall from Bill … “CAL, she looks JUST like Wonder Woman!” Well, the man loves his comic books and magazine … so Jill, you may not have summoned an analogy to the Playboys, but at least you didn’t resemble his favorite Spawn! :) By the way, I agreed when I met you … you DO look like Wonder Woman!! Congratulations, guys.
