Sometimes, Nien Nunb shows up where you least expect him

Paper Wad

I know! That wad of paper looks familiar, right?

I bet you’re thinking the same thing I thought as I gingerly separated it from the high-traffic, low-pile carpeting just outside the men’s room at work: “Man! This tiny, crumpled bit of paper looks exactly like Nien Nunb, minor Star Wars character and Lando Calrissian’s co-pilot during the Battle of Endor!

How many people walked right past it and are now beating themselves up for not seeing it first?

Sorry guys, but to the victors belong the spoils!

  2. Oh yes, from that angle I can TOTALLY see the resemblence. You are clearly one of those people that will find Jesus in a Cheeto or the Virgin Mary in a grilled cheese sandwich and then try to hock it on Ebay.

  5. Dude….you should have done it as a trivia question with just the photo of the wad of paper w/out the pic of Nien Nub. Of course it is TOTALLY Nien Nub….nonetheless. As a matter of fact, Nien Nub is really one of the unsung heros of ROTJ–that’s “Revenge of the Jedi” and not “Return of the Jedi” as some of you casual fans call it :-) Let me know when you find the Boba Fett wad of paper.

  7. A programmer on my former team at CAMS, Chuanchu Wu, was a dead ringer for Nien Nunb. (Cray-ig can verify this.) I wish I had a picture of him. Damn.
